Course Description

F758 - Financial Products and Services: Innovation and Market Trends

Financial products and services have grown considerably in complexity over the last decade and now comprise nearly half of the North American non-farm business profits.  Design and development of these products requires specialized skills and deep knowledge of the user needs that the products fulfill.  This course examines a range of financial products and services in the context of innovation, product development, and market strategy without requiring any technical or quantitative background.  We discuss a mix of retail, corporate, and enterprise products and also explore their design and development through the lens of entrepreneurship and strategy.
