D.M. (Mike) Hedden Gold Medal

To be awarded annually to the student in the graduating class of the MBA program who, on the basis of scholarship, is judged to be the outstanding member of the graduating class.

Allan J. Greve – St. Joseph’s Health Care Award

To be awarded annually to the graduating student in Health Services Management specialization who achieves the highest academic standing.  (Approximate value: $1,500)

The Basu Medal

Established in 1984 in memory of Dr. S.J. Basu, former Associate Professor and the Chairman of the Accounting Area. To be awarded annually to the graduating student in the Accounting and Financial Management Services specialization who achieves the highest overall standing in the 700-level Accounting courses and attains at least a 7.00 (A-) grade point average in these courses. In the case of a tie, other accounting grades will be considered.

The Litvak Medal in Marketing

Awarded annually to the graduating student in the Strategic Marketing specialization who achieves the highest overall standing in the 700-level Marketing courses and attains at least a 7.00 (A-) grade point average in these courses. In the case of a tie, other marketing grades will be considered.

2016 Recipient:

Taylor Biggin

The R.J. Spence Memorial Medal

Established in 1985 in memory of Dr. R.J. Spence, former Associate Professor of Finance and Dean of the Faculty of Business. To be awarded, upon graduation, to the MBA student who has completed the Finance specialization with the highest standing in any five 700-level courses in Finance and Business Economics. In the case of a tie, other Finance and Business Economics grades will be considered.

MBA Co-op Leadership Achievement Award

To be presented annually to a graduating co-op student through a nomination process. A selection committee will base its decision on the following criteria: an academic average of at least 6.00 in his/her 700-level courses; an active involvement in various program, school and/or university organizations; contributions to class functions, sporting activities, social activities, and academic events, and a general overall contribution to enhancing the activities and life of the school and the program. (Approximate Value $100).
