Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to recognize academic achievement and community involvement. Some are awarded automatically while others require applications.
For full award descriptions and requirements please see the tuition, awards and financial assistance section of the academic calendar.
Applying for a Scholarship
Scholarship applications are only accepted online. You must include a current resume with your application. There are separate applications for current (“in-course”) and newly admitted (“entering”) students.
Only full-time, co-op and accelerated students can apply for scholarships. Students in the accelerated program are only eligible for entrance scholarships.
Application deadline: Oct. 15, 2012
Application Forms
Some award applications require additional supporting documents. Please make sure you submit all of the required information. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Ontario Graduate Scholarship Program (OGS)
In addition to the awards given by the School of Business, MBA students can apply for the Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS) which are offered annually by the Province of Ontario. An OGS can be awarded for two or three consecutive terms in the amount of $5,000 per term.
These awards are primarily intended for Canadian citizens and landed immigrants with at least one year of residency in Canada. Preference is given to Ontario residents, but a small number of the awards may be given to landed immigrants with less than one year of residency in Canada or holders of student visas.
Applications typically open in late August and must be submitted to the MBA Academic Services Office (MASO) by mid-October.
Please check this page frequently for updates regarding OGS.
