Course Description

C726 - Critical Issues in Health Services Management

This course serves as the capstone course for Health Services Management (HSM) students. It will explore the most urgent and important issues of the day facing managers in the health sector. Institutional, community, and private-sector examples will be included. A combination of lectures, discussion, guest lecturers, and student projects will be used to gain a greater knowledge of those issues. This course is also intended to serve as the bridge for HSM students between their academic experience and future careers.

Prerequisite: C721 and registration in the Health Services Management Specialization of the MBA or permission of the instructor.
