Course Description
F611 - Corporate Finance: Tools for Value Creation and Risk Management
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the way companies and individual investors make financial decisions. The material builds on concepts of the time value of money, risk/return analysis and capital budgeting learned in earlier finance courses, and make extensive use of the accounting concepts, especially the organization of the balance sheet and income statement. Course coverage centers on advanced corporate financial management, including working capital, derivatives and risk management, capital structure, dividend policy, raising debt and equity capital, firm valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
