F748 - Financial Management for Biotechnology Firms

Successful biotechnology enterprise depends on understanding science as well as developing skills in commercialization and finance. This course explores the economics and financial strategy unique to biotech firms and, through case studies and applied financial analysis, brings together a number of financial management topics such as biotech business models, financing and valuing biotech companies, biotech investment and entrepreneurship, and drug licensing and deals, among others.
