K728 - eHealth: Innovations, Trends, Successes and Failures

This course reviews the latest innovations in eHealth, the trends in their use, how they are affecting the provision of healthcare, whether they are regarded by users as successes or failures, and the related reasons for these opinions.  Besides the topics provided in advance, students may also suggest additional topics of interest, and an effort will be made to accommodate such suggestions.  Learning will be through individual presentations on certain topics that students have reviewed in detail, by class discussions, by presentations by visiting experts, and by developing, writing, and presenting term papers on eHealth topics of interest.
