Reason for pursuing an MBA: Career Progression, Entry in capital markets.

Why DeGroote was chosen: I chose the DeGroote MBA program because of its strong focus on experiential learning and the unique co-op option, which provides valuable real-world experience while pursuing my degree. I was also drawn to the vibrant professional network and the opportunities to build lasting relationships with peers, faculty, and industry leaders.

Favorite MBA experience: My favourite part of the MBA experience so far has been the blend of learning, leadership, and community. The co-op program and case competitions have allowed me to apply theory to real-world challenges and grow professionally. Serving as President of the DeGroote Entrepreneurship Club has been especially rewarding, as I’ve had the chance to lead a passionate team and create opportunities for others. Most of all, the strong relationships I’ve built with peers, professors, and mentors have made this journey deeply meaningful and transformative.

Tip for first-year students:  Lean in. Get involved, ask questions, and take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. The more you engage, the more rewarding your experience will be.
