Reason for pursuing an MBA: The desire to be a well rounded people leader, balancing technical expertise as well as the nuances of strategy and business management.
Why DeGroote was chosen: The well ranked nature of the co-op program, an active CPD team, and the McMaster brand reputation in the Toronto region.
Favorite MBA experience: Hosting townhalls as the MBAA Academic Director; Winning DeGroote’s Got Talent; Representing the McMaster MBA at the QS Toronto fair; to name a few.
Tip for first-year students: Stay organized, stay calm and have fun! It will be done before you know it.
Industries of interest: Banking/Financial Services ; CPG ; Consulting.
Club involvement: Academic Director – MBA Association.
Weekend activities: Workout, 5K runs, cleaning the house, cooking and working! (in that order actually, haha).
Favorite course: Hard to pick one, each had their pros and cons.
Fun facts/hobbies: Love soaking in the Sun and spending time with Mother Nature, with a sense of belonging in giving back to the community by volunteering.
