Onboarding for Accelerated Students

If you’re in the Accelerated Program, there are a few things you need to know.

Other MBA students are automatically registered for their courses — but the situation is different for Accelerated students. Accelerated students are required to register for their Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and Summer 2026 courses during the online registration period: June 24 – August 1, 2025.

Accelerated students should attend the mandatory webinars on May 28 and June 11. The “Ask Us Anything” webinar session (with live Q&A) taking place on Wednesday, June 18 is highly recommended.

Course Registration

Specializations

Accelerated students will receive information on how to declare your specialization once you begin classes in Fall 2025. However, you will want to do some planning on how to meet the requirements for your desired specialization prior to course registration. The mandatory webinars will provide these details for you.

SGS 101 and SGS 201

SGS 101 and 201 are online training modules all McMaster graduate students are required to complete in September (for students starting in the Fall term) or January (for students starting in the Winter term). Read more on the SGS Training Modules page.

Accelerated Onboarding Weekend

Full-time and Part-time Accelerated students are strongly encouraged to attend the Accelerated Onboarding Weekend: Saturday, July 12 – Sunday, July 13. Check out the Accelerated Onboarding Weekend webpage for more details.
